Yoga

The yoga I teach comes directly from my experience as a practitioner over the past 20 years. I'm an extremely curious person and massive nature lover. I've studied tantra and the history of yoga with Dr. Douglas Renfrew Brooks and read a bit of David Gordon White, amongst other scholars on the subject, for the unabridged unfiltered information on what yoga is and isn't.

The asana (poses) part of class is full of musculoskeletal anatomy, (which I learned during my ATSI training) and weaving a bit of nature, philosophy, allegory, and myth into class.

We don't stretch, we do low intensity strength exercises.

We do a full spectrum of standing and seated poses.

I do my best to teach to the level of people in class, while making the class accessible, and challenging for all.
